Union Station

The City of Toronto is executing a multi-year revitalization of Toronto’s historic Union Station with retail developer Osmington Inc. overseeing 165,000 square feet of additional commercial space to serve over two million visitors every week.

Savira provided integrated planning services with Osmington to articulate the vision for the revitalization of Canada’s busiest transit hub, and position Union Station as a world-renowned civic, cultural, and commercial centre, while maximizing reputation and revenue. The two-year planning process culminated in the TD Bank Group founding sponsorship, cultural partnerships, programming partnerships, event space design, economic modeling and a diverse range of activation platforms for cultural programs, community events, and innovative branding.

Upon completion of construction, Union Station will be a vibrant mixed-use facility for culture, commerce and history – a vital component of neighbourhood life and a lens through which to experience Toronto’s cultural richness.
